Tonya Riggs Clement in Portland - Again :)

Well, it was this time of year once again: Tonya’s yearly run of the Hood to Coast relay race. And so that is good news for me and my family for that means we get to see Tonya once again. Tonya lives in Boulder, Colorado with her husband Brad. Besides being an active climber, she is quite the busy business-woman as the sales director of Stonewear Designs. And so it is very nice to be able to see her, if only for a short time….Tonya visited us again at our home in Beaverton, and then we all went out to a nice breakfast.
For those who have forgotten and / or do not know Tonya…Tonya was one of our climbers on our history-making peace climb of Mt. Everest. Tonya is also featured on our film, Everest: A Climb for Peace. She met her husband, Brad on Everest. Brad was our cameraman! And so as I am happy to say - it was not just the Everest Peace Project, but the Everest Looooove Project!
One day soon my family will have to take a trip to Boulder to visit Tonya and Brad…in the meantime, I will enjoy the nice pictures…
