A Pilgrimage to Mt. Kailash in Tibet! - Lhasa, Mt. Everest Base Camp in Tibet, the Guge Kingdom, Lake Manasorvar, and a Holy Pilgrimage to Mt. Kailash! Truly a Once in a Lifetime Journey.

Monk at Mt. KailashJoin us as we do a Holy Kora of Mt. Kailash.

(Slideshow images below) - Why Adventure with Us!

We fly into Lhasa - visit the Potala Palce (former home of the Dalai Lama), sightsee temples and monasteries, view incredible landscapes and peoples. And then we drive to Mt. Everest Base Camp. (Yes, you can drive into base camp in Tibet!). But along the way we first stop at the famed and incredible Rongbok Monastery. From the monastery we will stretch our legs and take a nice stroll to Everest Base Camp proper. Along with Mt. Everest we will see other 8000 meter wonders: Cho Oyu, Makalu, and Shishipangma.

Normally that would be enough of a journey - but wait, the main course still awaits as we drive across Tibet to Lake Manasorvar, a sacred lake (if you are adventurous you can bathe yourself in the water as it is said by doing so it will wipe away your sins and cleanse your soul.) The following day we start our Holy Kora of what is considered the most Holy and Sacred Mountain in the world: Mt. Kailash. We spend 3 days trekking around the mountain in a clockwise manner. On the 2nd day we surmount a 5000 meter / 18,000 foot pass while seeing the most spectacular scenary of what is the most awe-inspiring mountain!

Journey over, right? - Wrong! There is still more: after our 3 day trek around Mt. Kailash we will visit a remote landscape that is seldeom explored (and you thought Mt. Kailash was remote!). We journey next to the Guge Kingdom, where we spend 3 fabulous days exploring. View spectacular images of our trip, below.

Lance Trumbull and DaYula Sherpa will lead you on a pilgrimage to the most Holy Mountain in the World.
