
Lance Trumbull is a motivational speaker, filmmaker, adventurer, and author. He is the executive director of The Everest Peace Project, a peace organization in Beaverton, Oregon.
Lance is the producer and director of the award-winning film - Everest: A Climb for Peace, which is narrated by Orlando Bloom and has been endorsed by his Holiness the Dalai Lama. He recently wrote a Children's Book based on the film.
Lance was the organizer, creator, and the expedition leader for the Everest Peace Project's history-making Everest Peace Climb. He helped successfully co-lead 10 people to the summit of Everest. The Everest Peace Climb made world-history by assembling one of the most diverse Everest teams ever created, which consisted of people from diverse faiths, countries, and cultures - including Palestinian and Israeli men. Lance helped put together every aspect of the project, climb, and film, including assembling the multi-cultural team, finding sponsors, and producing and directing the documentary.
Lance has given speaking engagements and special screenings of his award winning film at Nike, MacFilmmakers at Apple Computers Headquarters, Salesforce.com, REI, lectures at college campuses in the US, speaking engagements in the Middle East, Asia, and Europe, and talks at Rotary Clubs and other organizations. He has done radio and television talk shows - has been interviewed by CBS and NBC, and has spoken about The Everest Peace Project's historic Climb for Peace all over the globe. Lance has given talks to people of all ages, including to high school and college students at schools across the world.
