The Everest Peace Project
Dudu summited Everest on May 18th, 2006. He made a bold and heroic statement of peace and friendship when he unfolded a joint Israeli/Palestinian flag on the summit of Everest and dedicated the climb to his Palestinian friend and climbing partner Ali Bushnaq - who earlier had to turn back to due to illness.

Dudu is an avid climber and mountain lover who has summited Everest and has climbed mountains all over Europe (including Mt. Blanc and the Matterhorn), and in South America (Aconcagua). He also recently summited Mt. Kamet (7756 m) in India. He is a member of the Israeli Alpine Club. His other passions are yoga, biking, and rock climbing. He has rock climbed extensively in the Middle East.
